SeatMerch — buy the shirt, be the show

Platform policies

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to every merchant storefront, product, design, show listing, and message sent through SeatMerch. Last updated November 1, 2026.

Draft — subject to change. This policy is still being finalized and may be revised or replaced. It is provided for reference only and is not the final, binding version.

1. Prohibited artwork and content
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or publicity rights (see the IP Policy).
  • Hate speech or imagery attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
  • Threats, harassment, incitement to violence, or glorification of mass violence.
  • Sexually explicit material, and any sexualized depiction of minors.
  • Content promoting illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated goods.
  • Deceptive claims, impersonation of another artist, venue, or brand, or artwork designed to pass as an official product.
  • Malware, phishing links, or scam offers in storefront copy or fan emails.
2. Print-partner standards

Our print partners apply their own content standards and may refuse a job. If a partner rejects a design, the listing is disabled and the merchant is notified. Repeated rejections may lead to storefront suspension.

3. Fan data and messaging
  • Fan contact data collected through SeatMerch may be used only for that merchant's own show, drop, and release announcements.
  • Do not sell, rent, or transfer fan data to third parties.
  • Honor unsubscribe requests; suppression is enforced platform-wide.
  • Do not upload purchased or scraped contact lists.
4. Platform integrity
  • No self-purchasing or fake orders to inflate rankings or trigger payouts.
  • No fraudulent chargebacks, payment testing, or laundering of funds.
  • No scraping, automated bulk access, or attempts to bypass access controls.
  • No sharing of merchant dashboard credentials with people outside your act or venue.
5. Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may remove a design, unpublish a storefront, hold settlements, suspend the merchant account, or terminate it. Serious or repeated violations result in termination without notice. Anyone can report a violation using the takedown & report form.
